Chris brings more than a decade of operational leadership and emergency medical expertise to NWLI. As a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and a field clinician certified at both the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) and Wilderness EMT (WEMT) levels, he blends event operations, risk management, and hands‑on clinical experience to design safe, resilient programs and learning experiences. Christopher has led multi‑disciplinary teams for large-scale trainings, outdoor expeditions, and community preparedness initiatives, focusing on practical skills, scenario-based learning, and clear incident protocols. He is known for translating complex safety standards into accessible procedures, mentoring staff and volunteers, and ensuring that participant experience and wellbeing remain central to every event.

Glenn Bell
Wilderness First Aid
Professional Qualifications Glenn Bell is a highly qualified Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor, as well as a National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and a certified Wilderness EMT. His teaching portfolio covers a range of critical emergency response topics, including Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED, First Aid, Stop the Bleed, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Wilderness First Aid. In addition to his instructional roles, Glenn serves as the Lead EMT for the Littlefork Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company. Educational Background and Experience Glenn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration. He is also a military veteran, having served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. His diverse expertise spans emergency medicine, leadership, and software engineering. Personal Interests Outside of his professional life, Glenn enjoys spending his free time hiking, biking, and riding his motorcycles.

Kerin has been a practicing EMT since 2016 and a proud member of the Great Falls Fire Department since 2015. During her time with the department, she served on the leadership board in multiple roles, including Training Officer and Assistant Chief. Her dedication and excellence in patient care earned her Fairfax County’s BLS Provider of the Year award in 2020, followed by the Chief’s Award in 2021. With seven years of experience teaching CPR and BLS, Kerin brings both expertise and enthusiasm to every class. She is passionate about empowering individuals with lifesaving skills and is excited to continue serving the greater DC community through high‑quality, hands‑on training.

Shelley Drisko is a paramedic serving Halifax County, NC, and a volunteer with Virginia Beach EMS, bringing real‑world emergency experience to every class she teaches. A U.S. Coast Guard veteran and one of Alaska’s “Last Lighthouse Keepers,” she embodies resilience, service, and steady leadership. She’s also a dedicated Scout Leader who loves helping youth grow through hands‑on challenges. Off duty, Shelley designs mechanical escape rooms—blending creativity, teamwork, and problem‑solving into unforgettable experiences.
